What is Nexus?

Nexus is a Mauritius-based field guide and workflow evaluation practice for teams considering agentic AI. Agentic systems can combine model output with tools, data and multi-step actions, which makes process ownership and action boundaries as important as model capability. Nexus therefore starts with the work itself: the source records, recurring steps, exceptions, approval points and evidence a reviewer needs. The browser-based tools on this site help teams prepare questions and scenarios. They do not inspect an organisation, certify readiness or predict a deployment outcome. Nexus also accepts enquiries about bounded workflow discovery. This site currently publishes no client case studies, performance benchmarks or claims that a particular workflow has been delivered.

What does agentic AI mean on this site?

It means software that combines model output with tools or data to pursue a multi-step task. The useful question is not whether a system is called an agent, but what it may read, draft, change or send, and which actions require a person.

Does the evidence self-check certify AI readiness?

No. It organises self-reported evidence across ownership, context, measurement, controls and process records. It is informed by public risk-management frameworks, but it is not an audit, conformity assessment or substitute for legal, security or operational review.

What is a sensible first workflow to examine?

Prefer a recurring, documented task with accessible source records, a clear owner and reversible outputs. Keep payments, account access, contract terms, public claims and other consequential decisions behind explicit human approval.

How should a team estimate value?

Use its own observed task hours, expected displaced hours, loaded cost, implementation cost and annual operating cost. The scenario tool shows that arithmetic without inserting capture rates or industry benchmarks.

What data protection question matters in Mauritius?
